Student diagnosed with ADHD but my state education system still calls it 'behavioral problem.' Or they diagnose with outdated criteria. Official recognition doesn't exist. How do I work around this?

System hasn't caught up.

How do you support students in systems that don't formally recognize their diagnosis?
