Got diagnosed with ADHD. My dad's response: 'You're just not trying hard enough.' My mom: 'This generation relies too much on labels.' My spouse is skeptical too.

Everyone around me reacted with doubt, and now I'm wondering if they're right. Is this diagnosis real or am I just... broken?

It took my parents almost a year to come around. What worked was showing them changes, not sending them articles.
