My 8th grader has ADHD, awkward socially. Peers mock them daily. School response: 'They're being kids,' 'They need to learn to handle it.' But my teen is becoming suicidal about it.

Teens can smell an agenda from three rooms away. Casual side-by-side conversations — car rides especially — worked far better for us than sit-downs.
